The Illinois Wolves basketball club is a non profit organization started in 1999 to enable student athletes to develop life skills as well as basketball skills to compete on a national level. The Illinois Wolves charge no participation fees and are funded solely through fundraising. As a national elite traveling team the Illinois Wolves players have earned over $5,000,000. in scholarships with just the first five classes that were college eligible to such schools such as North Carolina, USC, Notre Dame, Illinois, West Virginia, Southern Illinois, Ohio State, etc. Everyone involved in the Wolves does so on a volunteer basis. This unique approach allows 100% of dollars raised to go directly to the young people in the program to cover expenses such as uniforms, travel fares, hotels ,marketing etc.
